On Saturday, before 43,000+ fans at
Chase Field in Phoenix, the
Diamondbacks' 3B Eugenio Suarez hit 4
homers in 1 game.. Despite his feat, one
of the rarest in baseball, the Snakes
lost to the Braves, 8-7. Since 1896,
when Ed Delahanty hit 4 for the Phillies
in a 9-8 loss to the Chicago Colts, only
Bob Horner's 4 HR effort for the Braves
in 1986 ended in a loss, 11-8 to the
Expos. Above, Suarez connects for his
second homer of the day off Braves RHP
Grant Holmes in the bottom of the 4th.
